Excellent lunch stop if you are exploring this area filled with gorgeous scenery and ski resorts doing their summer thing. We are blessed to have a friend living in nearby Orem who always serves as our personal tour guide through these twisty, aspen-lined roads perfect for motorcycle touring!

We have driven by here many times over the years but only just went inside for the first time. What a cute little chalet that includes reasonably priced food, souvenirs and a few tables to sit and enjoy a meal or even just a soft serve ice cream. We noticed that the menu had interesting choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Each of my kids has already decided what they will try the next time we come back by.

Not only lower priced beer and food than you'll find at the main resort, but also great service. I had a cheeseburger and fries for lunch. There was no crowd, no line, my food was made fresh to order with skillfulness and care. It made me happy!

I was very happy to find out that this spot has a Krispy Krunchy chicken locations. The tenders are great and the biscuits are amazing esp the blue berry. Staff is very nice and a great atmosphere. Just wish they had the full Krispy Krunchy menu because the wings I had at another location is great

Enjoyed dinner after a hike. Burger was pretty good, seasoned with a toasted bun! Nice! Great escape from the city!

The chicken here is to die for! Always a great value for a fresh and quality offering! Great tasting food, fun environment and a few steps away from the slopes! I’ll be back.

Todd you’re the man! One of a kind shop with amazing shakes and snacks! The pumpkin spice shake and the Heath bar shake were outstanding! So smooth and creamy and not overly sweet. A must stop shop!

A cute local shop. We ate lunch there - hot options including hot dogs, corn dogs, burgers. The soft serve ice cream looked fantastic! There's a unique soda menu too. There wasn't any gluten free hot food options. But, I found gluten free guacamole & chips and sausage & cheese containers in a fridge! Also they had some gluten free jerky and candies. Bathrooms were clean.

Brighton Store & Cafe is the perfect spot to stop and recharge after a day of outdoor activities in Big Cottonwood Canyon. The views are absolutely amazing—whether you’re sitting inside or outside, you get a stunning view of the mountains and the surrounding nature. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy the scenery, especially after a hike or ski trip. The staff is incredibly nice, always welcoming and making sure you feel at home. It’s clear they care about providing a great experience, and it really shows in the service. The food is fantastic, with a lot of options to choose from. I loved their soft-serve ice cream, and they also have great snacks, sandwiches, and drinks to refuel (no actual gasoline). Whether you want something light or a hearty meal, they’ve got you covered. Another bonus is the bathroom, which is clean and well-maintained, something I always appreciate when I’ve been outdoors for a while. The store has a good selection of supplies too, from drinks and snacks to small souvenirs, making it a great place to grab anything you might need while you’re in the area. Overall, Brighton Store & Cafe is a fantastic spot—great food, amazing views, friendly service, and the convenience of having a clean bathroom. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick snack or enjoying a meal while taking in the views, I highly recommend it if you’re in Big Cottonwood Canyon!
